All five teach both FRM Part 1 and Part 2, and four of the five appear on GARP’s official list of Exam Preparation Providers. They differ in how they teach: some are built around live online classes with access that continues until you pass on eligible courses, others around city classrooms, placement programmes or bundled question banks. How we compared FRM coaching in India
Every fact here comes from a public source: the provider’s own FRM course pages, its published student reviews, GARP’s Exam Preparation Provider list, and GARP’s exam and fee pages. Where a provider does not publish something, the guide says so rather than guessing. The order in which providers appear does not indicate a ranking.
We have not listed course fees for the individual providers. Indian coaching fees change with every batch, differ between live, recorded and hybrid versions of the same course, and are sometimes quoted with GST and sometimes without, so a fee table goes out of date quickly and compares unlike things. Check the current fee on the provider’s page or with its counsellor before you enrol.
Pass rates published by coaching institutes are self-reported, and GARP states that it does not endorse the pass rates any Exam Preparation Provider claims. Where a provider explains how it counts its results, we note that, because a figure with a stated method is easier to judge.

FRM coaching providers in India compared one by one
MidhaFin
MidhaFin is a GARP-approved provider that has trained FRM candidates since 2012 and runs live online classes for both Part 1 and Part 2, alongside self-paced versions of each. Part 1 is taught by founder Micky Midha, a CFA charterholder and certified FRM, and the Part 2 live classes are taught by two industry practitioners. GARP’s provider profile lists more than 200 hours of concept lectures, over 85 hours of problem-solving sessions, over 100 hours of structured revision, more than 3,000 practice questions and five full-length mock exams in the computer-based format. Students get 16 to 20 week study plans, a doubt forum and one-to-one doubt sessions, and eligible courses keep access open until the candidate passes.
What students praise: across its published reviews, the recurring comments are about teaching that breaks difficult concepts down properly, detailed explanation of each concept, and material that is comprehensive while staying clear and structured. One-to-one doubt clearing also comes up often. MidhaFin publishes its results by exam window along with its counting method.
Where it falls short: it is an online-first provider, so candidates who specifically want a physical classroom will find more centres elsewhere, and no placement programme is listed on its FRM pages.
QuintEdge
QuintEdge is a GARP-approved provider that teaches FRM live online, self-paced and in classrooms in Delhi and Mumbai, including evening and weekend batches aimed at working professionals. Its faculty team includes practitioners from banking and risk roles, and its FRM programme includes study notes, a question bank, full-length mocks, a doubt forum, practical tool training such as Excel and Python risk models, and a placement programme.
What students praise: public LinkedIn posts from its FRM students most often credit the structured approach, clarity of concepts and faculty guidance. It publishes a pass-rate methodology.
Where it falls short: the question bank is quoted as 1,800+ in one place and 3,000+ in another on the same FRM page, so confirm the number for your package.
RBei Classes
RBei Classes, founded in 2018 and based in Noida, teaches FRM through recorded lectures, with live lectures in its top tier, and every session is taught by the founder. Its packages include mind maps, short notes, CBT-format mock tests (six in the basic tier and eight in the higher tiers), 3,000 to 4,000+ practice questions, and one-to-one doubt solving from the middle tier upward. Placement support is included in the higher tiers.
What students praise: reviews most often mention the clarity of the founder’s explanations and the quick one-to-one doubt support.
Where it falls short: live teaching is limited to the most expensive tier, its stated pass rate is published without a counting method, and it did not appear on GARP’s Exam Preparation Provider list when we checked.
Zell Education
Zell Education is a multi-course finance institute and a GARP-approved FRM provider with centres across seven Indian cities, weekend batches for working professionals, and faculty drawn from firms including JPMorgan Chase, Barclays and NSE India. Its FRM course bundles AnalystPrep study material, question banks and mock exams at no extra cost, and it runs a placement assistance programme.
What students praise: reviews most often mention student-friendly teachers, career guidance and interview preparation, and placement support through industry tie-ups.
Where it falls short: the programme is broader than exam preparation and is positioned around placement, so candidates who only want exam coaching may be paying for services they do not need.
FinTree
FinTree is a finance training institute that has run CFA and FRM preparation for about fifteen years and is on GARP’s approved provider list. Its FRM Prep Program covers Part 1 and Part 2 with batch-based live teaching, exam-style question banks, mock exams and last-stage revision material, and it suggests four to six months of study for Part 1.
What students praise: a long track record and a large body of free lecture videos on its YouTube channel, which many candidates use to sample the teaching before paying.
Where it falls short: its FRM course page does not publish faculty details, question counts, mock counts or the access period, so you need to ask for them before enrolling.

For a working professional, the deciding question is usually whether you will keep pace without a live timetable. If you will, a self-paced course saves money. If you will not, choose live classes for the part you find harder, which for most candidates from a non-finance background is Part 1.
FRM exam fees you pay to GARP
Whichever coaching you choose, GARP charges exam fees separately, in US dollars. New candidates pay a one-time enrollment fee of USD 400 with their first Part 1 registration. Each exam part costs USD 600 at early registration or USD 800 at standard registration, before local taxes such as GST, so the GARP total for both parts is about USD 1,600 at the early rate or USD 2,000 at the standard rate.
GARP offers both exams in May, August and November. Part 1 has 100 questions and Part 2 has 80, with four hours allowed for each, and GARP reports an average of about 240 study hours per part.

How to check an FRM coaching provider before you pay
- Look the provider up on GARP’s Exam Preparation Provider list. A listing is not an endorsement, but it shows an approved relationship with GARP.
- Ask how the pass rate is counted: which exam window, how many candidates, and whether students who did not report a result are included.
- Watch a free sample or demo class, because teaching style matters more than hours of video.
- Ask who teaches each part. Some providers use one instructor throughout and others use separate faculty for Part 2.
- Check the access period. Many candidates need a second attempt, and access that ends after one window costs money later.

For most candidates, yes. The exam is computer-based and the content is the same either way. Offline coaching helps if you need a fixed place and time to study.
